We’ve all got our own wish list of dream announcements. Many of us wait for E3 event to be disappointed that our most wished for title wasn’t mentioned. However, 2015 brings new hope that the following titles could be announced.
Call of Duty: World at War 2
Rumour has it that Activision might be working on this title. I’m not sure about you, but i’ve been wanting a return to the good classic theme of World War II for some time now. Futuristic warfare is fun, but it gets boring overtime. Now is a perfect time for a return to the era of World War II. We shouldn’t forget that it was this very theme (WW2) which the Call of Duty franchise was founded upon.
Mario 64 HD
The best game ever released on N64 re-made in HD? Yes, please! Any Wii U owner would want this. I loved my N64, generally because of Mario 64, it had so much to offer and it never seemed to get boring – it quite literally redefined the word adventure. The question is, could Nintendo release this title on Nintendo’s upcoming console? We think this is the most obvious outcome. Perhaps new features and an extended storyline could be introduced?
The Getaway 3
If you’re the owner of the PS4 then you’re sure to hope that Sony might be working behind the scenes developing the next edition to their The Getaway franchise. If you’re a fan of the GTA series, then you’re sure to dream about what Sony’s next step might be with The Getaway. This title could give Rockstar’s GTA a serious unwanted competitor. You should note that The Getaway 3 was been developed for the PS3, however, it was decided that development should be put on hold (it was never cancelled). Could this mean that Sony decided to make it an upcoming PS4 exclusive? Highly possible.
007 Spectre
We’ve seen what one 007 game release can do, just look to the 007 GoldenEye release on the Nintendo 64, which was the 3rd bestselling game. I’m personally a big fan of James Bond; the mi6 agent who never fails to bring a blockbuster movie title, and, of course, the occasional blockbuster game! Let’s hope we hear about an upcoming game release soon; it’s quite likely.
Red Alert 4
One of the first PC games I ever owned was Red Alert. If you’re the type of gamer who loves strategy then the announcement of Red Alert 4 is sure to be something you’re wishing for. The closest thing we’ve come to was a Command and Conquer: Generals 2 title, which is now paused – they’ve stopped working on it, although it isn’t cancelled. Red Alert 3 isn’t a bad game at all, in fact, it’s very good and unfairly tainted as an average title. However, Red Alert 3 was released back in 2008, and GameSpy recently closed, meaning the multiplayer servers closed in 2014, although you can still play it online using this method (also works for all of the other C&C games) – and you’ll find a bunch of great passionate players to battle with.
